In
1985, Gina DeBenedetto-Forcella retired from her professional dance
career and started her educational program with a very small dance
studio. Her ideas and program were simple; to instill the art and
joy of dance into young children.
In
just a few short years, the demand for Mrs. Forcellas dance
program was overwhelming. Gina relocated to her own state of the
art 7000 square foot custom designed facility, where she is now
joined by an excellent staff of educators and choreographers. Her two studio locations in Parlin and Monroe consist of six spacious classrooms filled with wall to
wall mirrors and custom lighting, custom designed wooden floors
to help prevent muscle and bone stress, professional sound systems
and Honeywell clean air purifiers throughout the building.
The
emphasis of the school is on dance as a rewarding, fulfilling experience,
and is designed to meet the needs of any student interested in the
art of dance. Great care and individual attention is given in nurturing
the abilities of each student to their fullest potentials. Our instructors
stress not only skills in dancing, but social development and effective
interaction between pupils and teachers.
