  • Dance Stop is thrilled to have been promoting dance arts for more than25 years!

  • A big welcome to the three new members of our  faculty!
                             Donielle Janora (Contemporary and Tap)
                             Colleen Poalillo (Jazz and Lyrical)
                             Giselle Lorenz (Jazz and Lyrical)

  • Dance Stop will host Intensive Workshops in March and November of this year at the Parlin studio.

  • Congratulations to our popular Contemporary dance instructor,  Al Blackstone, who recently performed with the touring company of Wicked, and returns to teach and choreograph at Dance Stop this fall!

  • We have introduced a new offering, known as Dance Team, to give our students more opportunities to perform and grow.  Please contact us if you are interested in showing  your spirit!

  • Best wishes to student Taylor Bera, who is currently touring across the U.S. in the production of Little House on the  Prairie, starring Melissa Gilbert!

  • Recent graduate Samantha Braine has begun her studies at the University of the Arts, in Philadelphia!  Likewise, recent graduate Justine Rima has begun her first semester at Marymount Manhattan College in NYC! We wish them well with their advanced dance studies and training at these excellent schools!

  • While you are rooting for your favorite NFL team, keep an eye  out for our acrobatics teacher, Amanda Cilento, who is now a professional dancer for the  New York Jets.  Former teacher Lindsay  Ritter is also a dancer for the Baltimore Ravens!

  • In late October and early November, 2010, Something New Studios will be visiting both  our Parlin and Monroe locations to take candid photos of our students in  the classroom.  Details will be given soon to parents of current students.

  • We are happy to support  the Thang Dao Dance Company,  which hosted the Contemporary Dance  Festival, November 5-8, 2009, at the Manhattan Movement Arts Center in New  York City.  Dance Stop encourages all students and parents to  explore the performances that are right in our backyard --
our  area is the arts capital of the world!
