The troupe, known as the Dance Stop Dancers, is made up of students who dedicate themselves to focused and extensive dance training, and who pursue a high standard of performance quality and artistry. Important elements of their participation include self discipline, productive effort for their instructors, and a positive outlook towards accomplishing their personal goals. The students’ preparation extends to regional and national competitions, as well as performances in various charitable and community events. Dancers are generally divided by age, ranging from 4 to 18 years old.

The Dance Stop Dancers have earned widespread recognition for their accomplishments in many areas. Several members have been granted scholarships to attend esteemed college dance programs in the U.S. and Europe, and have advanced their training with internationally-acclaimed ballet companies. Our dancers have performed in Broadway and off-Broadway productions, dance themed television shows, music videos and other theatrical venues. In addition, the troupe and its soloists have received numerous top awards at dance competitions for outstanding technique, choreography and costumes. The troupe presents its dances every year in Dance Stop’s Gala Performance at the State Theater in New Brunswick, NJ.
