Sara Pyun

Sara enhances our students’ education with acclaimed choreography in jazz and lyrical genres, as well as a performance style that encompasses strength and grace in its creative message. Sara received a highly prestigious award (the equivalent of a Broadway Tony Award) in South Korea for choreography in the stage production of Footloose. Recent musical productions that Sara has choreographed, directed, and/or produced in South Korea include Peter Pan, Grease, Saturday Night Fever, Bat Boy, and others. When she is not teaching at Dance Stop. she conducts jazz workshops for actors and dancers, as well as acting classes for actors, dancers, and models. As a former Olympian in rhythmic gymnastics, she truly inspires our intermediate and advanced dancers. Her originality and dedication to her students make her an exceptional master teacher and choreographer. Since 1997, Sara, along with Miss Gina and our other master teachers, has authored what is widely recognized as the signature style of the Dance Stop Dancers.
